RESTOCKING
Restock often, on your own schedule.
Restock anytime during business hours, 10am-7pm. No restocking on the weekends or during events. If you must restock on Saturday or Sunday, do so only after 5pm. PLEASE start wrapping up by 6:45pm. Our Staff wants to leave when they close-up at 7pm.

BOOTH PHOTOS
Text the store for photos.
You may text the store and request a photo of your booth. Please don’t call as we tend to be busy with customers. We will text you a photo at some point before closing. It may not be immediate. It’s a great way to plan what to bring when restocking.

LARGE ITEMS
If you can’t lift it, we can’t either.
When moving in large items, remember the staff has to move it out. Please no cast iron stoves or overly heavy items. We do have a dolly and furniture wheels to use for furniture. If you sell a large piece, staff will try to call & notify you (not guaranteed).

LIST OF NO’S
TN is a different type of antique store. List of items alllowed.
We strive to be cool, so there’s a list of items that aren’t allowed to be sold. This include: no collectibles, no trademarked/copyright items, “pretty” boxed dolls, fake floral, wholesale, underwear, new items, mass produced, satanic, knives or swords (pocket knives, ok), dangerous to shoppers, Nazi, crafty, prejudicial, or current politics. VINTAGE
30 years or older in 75% of your booth.
Everyone has a different explanation of antiques and vintage. We typically say anything you remember from your childhood or older. Reproductions should be clearly marked. No chips or broken items. Again, do not overprice items. Clean your items.

THRIFT
Recycled items help save the world.
Thrifted items, estate sales items, and recycled items are allowed. However, they must be in good condition, interesting, “hip”, and priced affordably. Be sure it’s not mass chain store items (Hobby Lobby). If you have questions, please ask. Thrift should be less than 25% of booth.

MIDWEST MAKERS
Handmade by you.
All items must be made by you. If you are a vintage/thrift vendor and would like to bring in handmade, please ask Stacey. All handmade items should be packaged professionally and look like something you’d buy at a store or on Etsy. No crafts. You can accent with vintage items for sale. Vintage Vendors must get handmade items approved.

WHOLESALE
No wholesale items will be allowed.
TN does not allow any wholesale. All of our “Brands” have been hand selected. Most are Midwest made and all are small businesses. We do not allow any other vendor to compete against the “Brands.” If you know a brand you feel should be at TN, contact Stacey.

CLOTHING
Recycled and thrift, most should be under $25.
The average TN clothing shopping customer base is between 15 and 35. In fashion, thrift, rock, punk, name brands, sports, geek, and outer wear sell. Clothing, shoes, and bags should be in excellent condition. No holes, no missing buttons, not wrinkled, and clean. Bring in and mark your own hangers. Place a bin in your booth for hangers. Pin tags on with safety pins.

INVENTORY
Vendors responsibility.
It is up to you is chose to keep inventory of your items. It is not required by True North, and we do not need a list of items. We suggest taking photos when you restock. If you use inventory numbers, that will be the only description you will receive on your report.

SALES
Average 100+ transactions per day.
Items are keyed into the software on our registers by sales staff at the time of purchase. There will be spelling errors, as we are all human. Descriptions will vary and our staff tries to give their best details. If busy, you may get “book” or “mug” only as a description.

DONATE
Help keep costs down.
Donate used or thrifted/garage sale Happy Meal toys for our kids scavenger hunt. We also need recycled plastic food bags (bread, buns, taco shells, bagels). Customers laugh when we bag their items in these recycled bags, plus it’s good for the Earth. Recycle!

WRONG ITEM ON REPORT
Vendors responsibility.
TN Staff are rock stars, however mistakes do happen. If you notice something on your report that is not yours, please email Erik. He will make the correction, and good karma will be sent to you!

DO YOU
Don’t copy. Don’t be crafty.
If you can easily make it, so can our customers. You were approved in a specific category & added to TN because you bring something different. Don’t stray. If you want to try something new, please ask permission prior. We don’t approve items competing with TN Makers.

VENDOR SUPPLY AREA
Supplies for all.
If you need supplies, such as scissors, hammer, screwdriver, or other items while restocking, feel free to borrow from the Vendor Supply Area. There are multiple ladders around the store. It is the vendor’s responsibility to dust, sweep and vacuum their area. A drill is available as well. Ask the staff to use it. No drilling in TN2.
